Incorporated as a Sole Proprietorship in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in November of 2000, physically operating in the northern area of Allegheny County, Township of McCandless.

Grand Design was conceived and implemented to serve entrepreneurs, independent business people, small businesses, and other sole proprietorships. These types of clients have information technology needs far different from more complicated organizations and businesses that maintain complex staffing and day-to-day operations.

A typical Grand Design client requires closer personal contact and technical advising services than a larger business entity does. Also, operating as a sole proprietorship in the freelance web design industry creates a common ground between Grand Design and the client.

Time limitations, inventive solutions, and individual creativity instead of the highly complex SOPs of larger businesses are the hallmarks of most entrepreneurs, independent businesses and proprietorships. Grand Design shares these characteristics with its clients, and leverages them to benefit both the client and the Grand Design portfolio.
